Decem-brrrr!

Well it sure is a cold winter, and winter hasn't even started. I love this time of year, it's close to my favorite. A lot goes on for me right now and i really like that. I can't lie, I'm anticipating winter break. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy school and the learning envirnoment. But I am for sure ready for a break! I leave for Cancun on Saturday. It's bittersweet; it was a surprise family vacation and I'm very excited. But it is at a reeeally unfortunate time. It's during dead week and I'll be missing a lot of class. But no worries, I will get everything done and do it well. So another lovely think of December...actaually November...November 29th....that would be today. Baker is now open! I'm so excited!! At first I was bummed because I'm leaving this weekend and I wouldn't get to go up asap. But after I thought about it for a while, I realized that the whole state would be up there this weekend and it would be ridiculous. So I wont get to go until next weekend =[ but that's ok. Anyway all else is well so I suppose my next blog will be from Cancun!

Turkey Day =]

I almost forgot to blog this week. I'm so caught up in Thanksgiving! I love this holiday and the fact that it brings family together. I'm in California right now and the weather is amazing. We are spending the holiday with my stepdad's family, which I love. They are a very warm family and I like being here. It's nice because we don't get to see them much besides on Thanksgiving weekend. I really need to finish my paper. After the holiday is over, I'll have more motivation. I some on the plane, it just needs finished. Well it's almost dinner time, I can smell it in the kitchen. Happy Holidays everyone!!

I'm the Stranger in the Village

Somebody tell me why I have such a hard time writing an essay for school. I can talk until the cows come home and I can free write like nobody's business but when it comes down to theses, introducing quotes, and concluding paragraphs, I struggle. It's so frustrating because I really do feel strongly about this topic, as I did on the other topic we wrote about. "Stranger in the Village" was a very insightful article and I have much to say on it, as the class has heard. I NEED MY THOUGHTS ON PAPER! Someone please help me. Anyway I need to stop blogging because I have to write. Wish me luck.

Who Knows

I'm blogging now because it was on my mind. I'm so mad at myself for missing my last blog. It's frusterating because, like most people know, I do have a lot to say and this blog is perfect for that. So anyway what a day. I was in a crazy car wreck on I-5 today in the rain and was hysterical for hours. Plus I'm sicky sick with some crud and it sucks. I'm not having the best week I suppose. But that's actually not what I'm even writing about. I want to write about Grizzly Man. I LOVED THE MOVIE. Great great great choice Melissa! I must say, you have picked some incredible pieces for this course and they are soooo relavent to perception and point of view. Gosh, Grizzly Man was a documentary with such depth and it opened my eyes and mind to a lot of things. This movie and Timmy Treadwell actually touched my heart. I felt different after I left class that day. I'm sure I'll share it all in our discussion like I always do =] I'm actually looking forward to that a lot. I need to get sleep now, I'm crazy.
